The use of a TP-Link router:

The router is a device that links two or more networks and forwards the data packets between them. The TP-Link router enables you to connect your office or residential network to the internet. The TP-Link Wi-Fi range extender works efficiently to extend Wi-Fi to your device. They work in a High-speed mode and ensure uninterrupted data while watching a video or playing a game online. TP-Link routers are compatible with any router. The TP-Link products also include the following gadgets, range extenders, wireless routers, mobile phone, ADSL, routers, IP cameras, powerline adapters, and wireless adapters.

The Function of a Wi-Fi Range Extender:

The Wi-Fi range extender is also known as Wi-Fi booster or Wi-fi Extender. This device relays the wireless signal from the router and expands its coverage. It mainly functions as a bridge which captures Wi-Fi from the router and broadcasts it to areas where it is non-existent or where the network connection is weak. The TP-Link Wi-Fi range extender has two main functions. They are the Wireless Access point and the Wi-Fi range extenders. The TP-link Wireless Access Point method can be used by connecting Ethernet cables. It is the best and most reliable method which is suitable for commercial purposes. Wi-Fi range extenders can be connected using the WPS button. It is the simplest way of functioning as the WPS button is inbuilt with extenders. It starts to function immediately on pressing that button.

Can you use two Wi-Fi extenders at the same time:

Yes, we can use two Wi-Fi extenders, but there are a few rules to be followed while doing it. Never connect one network to another. As the performance for the second network is not satisfactory. Each extender should be connected to the main router. Ensure that both the networks don’t broadcast the same SSID as the main router does. People generally use the default network name to avoid the confusion in the programming of devices with two other SSID’s. We cannot do this as there is a risk factor of connecting two extenders between each other rather than via the main router. The above-mentioned restriction is not applicable when you are able to connect the extenders to the main router through Ethernet cables or power lines.
