1. Prepare the modem and router

Connect the modem to the blue WAN port, power the modem first, then start the TP-Link router.

2. Open the guided setup

Join the printed wireless network and use the Tether app or open tplinkwifi.net from a connected device.

3. Configure Internet and WiFi

Select the detected Internet connection type or enter ISP details when automatic detection cannot complete.

4. Place and connect mesh units

Set wireless names and passwords, change the administrator password and install the correct regional firmware.

5. Verify and document the setup

Test Internet speed, local access and every important room. Save the administrator address and configuration backup without storing passwords publicly.
