Why the exact model matters

Manufacturers reuse brand names across generations. For example, Netgear Nighthawk and Orbi are separate ecosystems; TP-Link Archer firmware depends on hardware revision; Deco uses an app-led mesh workflow; and Linksys ready-light colours differ between product generations. We therefore avoid publishing a single reset time or LED chart as if it applied everywhere.

Current editorial coverage focuses on the models listed. More model pages should be added only after their official manual, firmware page and product-specific support information have been reviewed.
