TP-Link Deco Mesh Guides

Deco X-series app setup, LED states, node placement, Ethernet backhaul, AP mode and offline fixes.

Deco is app-managed mesh, not a conventional Archer web-router experience. The Deco app and TP-Link ID are central to ownership and configuration, while the main Deco is the unit linked to the modem.

Before using a generic fix

Check the model number, hardware revision and role of the device. A router and satellite from the same brand can use different firmware files and reset indicators. General advice is useful for diagnosis, but destructive steps must follow the product documentation.
